After breaking my arm in July, I haven't been very active this second half of the year. Just tweaking some compositions as time and healing allow.
Wolfgang Merx and myself contributed a song, Winter Drone, to the No Room album for charity (my parts were recorded months ago). Both album and song can be found on my music page.
That's all for now, happy new year.

I haven't updated this is in over a year, but there are a few things worth mentioning.
I've been writing for production libraries for a few years now and I'm finally seeing some royalties coming in. It's not a lot of money, but it's just nice to finally see some of the effort paying off. Even if it is just a small amount at the moment. Some of the music has been used on a couple of shows on CNN, some Discovery channel shows, and even on some streaming services and college radio.
I continue to work with Wolfgang Merx and I'm on his latest effort, Security. Check my music page to hear it. A bunch of Wolfgang's albums (which I had the pleasure of playing on) have been released in the last couple of years by the ambient/electronic label, We Are All Ghosts. It's a small label run by Thomas Mathie in Scotland. Some links:
My own stuff continues with some new demos up on Soundcloud.
Ok, that's all for now. Stay tuned.

Hi there, this is my first post since moving back to the UK six months ago. Needless to say, it’s been a busy time. We’re fairly settled now and I’ve been busy on the music side of things, which is what this post is about.
I’ve revamped this website and started contributing again to the music production libraries that I’m working for (a piece of which might end up in a Discovery Channel show). I’m also working on a solo album of instrumental tunes. The album will be a digital only release. I would love to put out a CD, but the costs are prohibitive right now.
Besides that, I’ve had some fun lately collaborating with Wolfgang Merx and Sean Cotterill on experimental music. I met up with Sean a couple of months ago and had a nice jam session with him (a lovely guy and adventurous musician). The results are the beginning of a new project Wolfgang has started, but it’s in the early stages so not much to tell yet. Wolfgang is based in Germany, makes excellent experimental synth based music, and I’ve contributed guitar work to his last three albums. It’s been a lot of fun working with him and some of the pieces have been nicely challenging to solo on.
Some other nice people I’ve worked with in the last couple of years, mainly through the web:
Tom Emmons – a great composer and very nice guy based in California. I contributed a guitar track to a Pink Floyd tribute song he wrote.
Tzuriel Kastel - a composer and songwriter from Wisconsin. I did some guitar work on one of his production music tunes. A great guy to work with and good writer too.
Gordon Waite – a good friend I worked with when still in Seattle. I did some soloing on some of his music. He’s a fantastic songwriter and someone I miss hanging out with. Check out his music here.
I’ve been fortunate to meet a lot of other musicians and composers through social media in the last few years and some of the recent work I’ve been doing has been because of this. I met a couple more in person at a Mike Keneally gig this past month in Newcastle. It was really great to meet Sid Smith and Matt Stevens, especially at such a good concert. I even got to say hi to Mike Keneally, which was a real treat. The guy and his music are amazing.
That’s it for now, stay tuned for more music madness from these parts soon.
